MJA was engaged by Coastal Fuels Marketing to design significant improvements at this major Central Florida distribution facility. Petroleum product is received by tanker vessels and distributed by tank truck to retail facilities and end users in the Central Florida area. MJA was engaged to design a new bottom truck loading rack to combine the activities of two outdated truck loading racks, including lighting, automated loading systems, bottom loading, vapor recovery and fire protection. Our work also included relocation of piping from under ground to above ground, the installation of new product pumps and multiple additive injection systems to serve individual customer needs. Our firm developed complete PLC controls for the loading rack pumps and assisted with construction phase services.
