MJA provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services to the architectural firm of Tomaino Tomaino Iamello Associates, for this new middle school, which was constructed for a rapidly expanding school district. The building, 154,373 square feet in area, includes such features as a large gymnasium, a cafeteria/auditorium, classrooms, office space and enhanced science laboratories. The entire building is air-conditioned and employs a central automated DDC control system to monitor and control the mechanical systems. In addition, the facility has a technology-wiring infrastructure that provides data, video and communications services from a central distribution room.
