LGA has provided a full range of professional services for this large-scale residential development involving over 1,450 high-rise, mid-rise, and townhouse units, as well as 28,000 square feet of commercial space in Jersey City, NJ. This 42-acre former industrial site lies along the Hudson River and will include a full-service marina and ferry access to New York City.
LGA provided the boundary and topographic surveys as well as all civil/site development design work in the capacity of lead project consultant. Project approvals obtained by LGA included Jersey City subdivision, site plan and master plan resolutions; NJDEP waterfront development, sanitary sewer and water extension permits; and local Soil Conservation District certifications. Our firm also prepared quantity and value estimates, pump station design, public utility plans (electric, gas, telephone and CATV), and numerous plans and documents required for the site condominium associations and sale of individual units. LGA provided services continuously through the construction process, including bid schedule preparation, construction monitoring, invoice review, and coordination with contractors, public utility companies and approval agencies.
The Port Liberte project will be completed in seven phases over the next five years. The project's premier location and construction value constitute one of the foremost prime developed areas along the Hudson River waterfront.
