The Manasquan Borough Hall was unique because it was constructed as a design/build project. Several general contractors submitted proposals to design and build additions and alterations to an existing bank building. All work had to be done while keeping the bank fully operational. The total building encompassed over 18,000 square feet.
MJA worked closely with the plumbing, electrical and HVAC contractors to design systems that met the client's needs while staying within the guaranteed maximum price (GMP) submitted by the general contractor. The project included split-system HVAC systems, lighting, power, emergency generator, plumbing and fire protection systems.
