Birdsall Engineering, Inc. (BEI) was retained by The Hillier Group to provide professional engineering services for the Facilities Master Plan at Richard Stockton College in Pomona, NJ.

BEI evaluated and quantified the parking area based on the existing parking lot footprints. The need for increased parking spaces was determined, and improvement was achieved through re-striping and minor configuration of access aisles. BEI coordinated with The Hillier Group on the construction of a 700-space parking garage on the northwest corner of the campus near Parking Lot 7.

BEI was also responsible for stormwater/wastewater management and environmental permitting for the Master Plan. BEI worked as a liaison between the College and the New Jersey Pinelands Commission in order to ensure that all of the environmental impact needs were met.
